A tour of a typical bakery with tasting of a few products (bread, flat bread, biscuits from Matera), while listening to the baker’s story. Over 80 films have been shot in the historic city centre, including the latest James Bond, No Time To Die. Cookery lesson to learn to cook traditional dishes using seasonal products. The activity begins with a visit to the market, where you'll be able to choose fresh ingredients for your lunch. You will then transfer to the restaurant, where you'll be given a cookery lesson. Homemade pasta, Bolognese sauce, lamb with potatoes are just a few of the recipes to learn.

Just 10 km outside Matera is a livestock farm where you can visit the cattle and the other farm animals. We'll move on to the tiny workshop to prepare the ricotta using age-old techniques. This will end with a tasting of the cheeses with honey and jam. Return to the city.

A day in the Dolomiti Lucane. The green heart of Basilicata, where wood-covered mountains rise over the valley of the River Basento.
